Things to consider when booking for toxin….

Botox takes 2 weeks to kick in. It’s best not to go away on holiday during this time because if any complications arise or it needs tweaked a little, I’m not able to do anything about it!

Make-up or fake tan is an injection risk. I still get lots of people coming in that need make up removed despite me asking them not to. Shout out to ther ones who don’t. You guys are my MVPs.

Don’t book lashes, brows, hair, facial or chiropracter the same day as your appointment. Let the toxin settle into the muscle for 24 hours first. The same goes for wearing restrictive head gear (cycle helmet, horse riding helmet etc). Leave it 24 hours before doing this.

Anything that increases blood flow to the injected area should be avoided for 24 hours. This includes cardio exercise, sunbed, sauna or hot shower. To be honest, if you regularly get sunbeds then you’re not doing your skin nor your botox result any favours!

Your full result is there in 2 full weeks. Leave it the full two weeks before thinking you need anything tweaked. If you feel you need a tweak, please let me know asap after the two week mark. I won’t do any tweaks after 3.5/4 weeks as the new injections will be so out of sync with the original injections.
