Acid peels treat the epidermis to improve tone, pigmentation and texture of the skin. A series of peels normally gives the best results. Peels available in clinic are Obagi Blue Radiance Peel (superficial) and The Perfect peel (medium depth)

The Obagi peel requires no downtime but the Perfect Peel takes around 7 days to fully heal.

A single superficial peel will give a nice brightening glow temporarily. A series of peels is effective in resurfacing and smoothing the skin long term.

Obagi Blue Peel Radiance

Obagi Blue Peel Radiance is one of the most popular peels around. It is a superficial yet effective peel. Peeling is minimal and there is virtually no downtime.

A quick, non invasive salicylic acid-based facial peel that exfoliates and helps improve overall complexion. Suitable for most skin types.

The Perfect Peel (tm)

The Perfect Peel is a new, blended acid peel which is taking the Aesthetics industry by storm. It contains strong chemical exfoliants blended with antioxidants.

This peel is a bit more intense and does require very diligent aftercare and downtime. The peel is applied and left on the skin for several hours after the patient leaves. Peeling starts around day 3 and can be quite dramatic for up to 4 days after this. Although suitable for most skin types, patient selection is strict due to the crucialness of adhering to the aftercare.
