Resurface and Renew
Acid peels treat the epidermis to improve tone, pigmentation and texture of the skin. A series of peels normally gives the best results. The peel preferred in clinic is Obagi Blue Radiance Peel (superficial). This is a peel with very little downtime and is most effective with a course of peels.
Skin will feel red and tight afterwards and there may be slight peeling on days 3-5 but this is generally a well tolerated, highly effective skin resurfacer. Actives such as retinol, AHA/BHA, vitamin C should be stopped for a week prior to the first peel.
A single superficial peel will give a nice brightening glow temporarily. A series of three peels is effective in resurfacing and smoothing the skin long term.
